LESSON NO. 3 - AN IMPORTANT WORD
ABOUT THE LAWS OF GOD

AN IMPORTANT WORD ABOUT THE LAWS OF GOD

Before anyone can effectively use the Shield of Faith one must first understand what Faith is,
and what it is not. Hebrews 11 tells us that it is the substance of things hoped for and the
evidence of things not seen. Now, let’s see what else it is
. . .

1st Faith is a Law. Faith is not a positive feeling. Faith is not simply a state of mind. Faith is
not merely positive thinking. All of these things come as a result of having Faith, NOT the
other way around. Faith is a LAW, remember that. Romans 3:27. The Law of Faith comprises
the principles by which Faith itself operates. Just like the Law of Gravity comprises the
principles by which the Force of Gravity operates. The Law of Faith is just like the Law of
Gravity, it is a Law that works every time if the principles of that Law are correctly applied.
Components of this Law work for the saved and unsaved alike. How so? Because the Word
says, the unsaved use this Law to get saved! Remember Ephesians 2:8? ,"For by grace are
ye saved through faith; and that not yourselves it is the gift of God…". And also Romans
10:9,10," That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus (that Jesus is Lord) and
shalt believe in thine heart that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Verse 10
: "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation."

So we can see just from these scriptures that the first step of salvation is believing or Faith,
so the Laws or first principles of Faith are what we all had to enter into, to get saved! See
also Hebrews 11:6 (Awesome verse!).

Everybody has human faith, which is also called 'Sense Knowledge Faith'. This is faith drawn
from the senses, (in other words, we believe something because we can see it, touch it, taste it,
smell it or hear it. You know what the world says, seeing is believing), this is based on mere
human experiences.
For instance:

You believe that when you flip the light switch, the light will come on.

You believed that the chair that you're sitting in would support your weight when you sat down
in it. In
fact you believed it so much that you didn't even think about it before you sat down!

Take a moment to think about it. How many things do we do every single day with out thinking
about it, depending upon them to work. The elevator you get in at work or in your apartment
building. The fact that the key will work when you stick it in your door. In
fact, we depend upon
it and believe in it to work so much, that we talk to it when it doesn't! {"Wonder what's wrong
with this stupid thing, wonder why it's not working?"
} We talk to traffic lights, especially if
we're in a hurry {'Come on! Come on! Hurry up will ya! I'm late enough as it is!}

Some people even go so far as to curse at it! Cars, traffic lights, computers, etc., we talk to
them all. Why? Because we know they are supposed to work and believe without question that
they will work every time--especially when we need them too!

This is a very low level of faith in the systematic order of things. That these things around us,
people included, will work the way they are supposed too. When we get born again, God issues
us a new kind of Faith, His Faith (Galatians 2:21). This is a higher kind of Faith (Romans 12:2).

The unsaved person uses this Faith to get saved, once saved, then we are to live our lives by
this Faith. Hab.2:4, Romans 1:17. Like grace, Faith is a Gift from God to those who receive
Jesus Christ as their Savior. And from that point on we are to live by our Faith using it when
we confront problems and situations that our mere human faith can't handle. We learn that this
Gift works every time. We learn from the Word how to use it, develop it, receive it and activate
it! Next to the Love of God, it is the most powerful force in the universe. In
fact, the two have
t
o function together in order to work properly. Galatians 5:6!

Our Heavenly Father used His Faith to create everything. In fact, using the Law of Faith, God
created
all things, including the Law of Gravity! Heb.11:3.

2nd Faith is a Force. Faith is the Force that God used to create the universe. Heb.11:3. It was
the Force of Faith that knocked down the walls of Jericho. Heb.11:30. It was the Force of Faith
that the Old Testament saints used to receive their miracles.Heb.11:33-35a. It is the Force of
Faith which activates the power of God for healing today as it did in New Testament.
Matt.9:22,
Mark 5:21-34! Luke 8:48, Matt. 9:28-30, Matt.15:28, Luke 17:19, Mark 10:52, Luke18:42. The Force of Faith is like the Force of Gravity. It is the Force (power) behind the Law that makes the Law work. Why? Because it is a universal truth that behind every law there
must
be a force in place to make the law work. That's true whether in physics, or civilization,
behind the laws of every country there is a police Force to make the laws work.

3rd There Are Two Kinds of Faith. The God-Kind of Faith, Mark 11:22, Proverbs 3:5, Proverbs
30:5. Which trusts God, believes in Him AND His Word. Then there is ordinary Human Faith
(which we discussed earlier )which trusts in everything else BUT God. It puts its faith and trust
in other men (Jer. 17:5, Isaiah 30:3), things,(Isaiah 31:1), riches (Mk.10:24), etc. Some people
are foolish enough to even go so far as to trust in their sin and their perverseness. They believe
that their sin will protect them. These are people that are engaged in witchcraft, voodoo and the
like and erroneously believe that Satan, or their familiar spirit (personal demon) will be pleased
by their activity and be drawn to them and protect them. Not so, (Isaiah 30:12-13, Isaiah
5:18-24). Especially when you use and begin operating under the Law of the Spirit of Life in
Christ Jesus, which is a much higher Law than the one they operate under (the Law of Sin and
Death). God will shut down their Law and the demonic and Satanic powers that are behind
it.(Numbers 14:9.).

4th You Have God-given Faith. Romans 12:3. Everything you and I do should be governed by
Faith. Not foolishness, but Faith. The only way we can learn how to do that is by Reading,
Studying and Meditating in His Word, which is called the Word of Faith. Romans 10:8. Why?
Because it takes Faith to believe it, and it releases Faith in those who read and study and hear
it. Rom. 10:17.

5th Faith then according to Romans 12:3 is Measurable. God gives us all the same measure of
Faith. It's up to you and me to develop the measure that we have been given and increase it.
The
more Word you receive and act on, the more your measure of Faith increases! Mark 4:24
and 25! Read it!!

6th We Live by the Law of Faith. We Have to Learn the Principles of the Law of Faith so that
we
can learn to live by it successfully. When we were born again, we were transferred into
God's Kingdom (Col.1:13). When you live in a new kingdom, you have to, a) Learn the Laws
of that Kingdom and, b) Obey the Laws of that Kingdom. (If you move to China to live
permanently, then you had better learn the laws and the language there, or you could wind up
breaking their laws and not even know it! You could end up in jail and not even know why!)
Many Christians today are still obeying the Laws and speaking the language of the old
kingdom, Satan's Kingdom, and that's a key reason why things have not changed in their lives,
permanently. They started living by the Laws and speaking the Language of the Law of Sin and
Death again.

You have to learn the Laws of your new Kingdom. If not, you could end up in bondage, and not
even know why. You can not live by the Laws of the old kingdom in the new one--unless you
want to keep getting the same cursed things, evil things, "bad luck" (as the world calls it) and
etc. of the old kingdom.

7th Without Faith it is Impossible to please God! Heb.11:6 . So we see in Romans 12:3 that
He has dealt to every man and woman the measure of Faith.

So He expects us to use it, feed it, develop it and apply it in every area of our lives (Romans 14:23b, Habakkuk 2:4). This again brings us right back to the Word of God because it is here that we learn by precept and example how to effectively apply God's Word to our lives. . .

Have you had bad stuff happen to you, consistently, and wondered why? Make sure you're not living in the New Kingdom, but submitting to, and obeying the Spiritual Laws of the Old. (Think I've said it enough yet?) The Laws of God's Kingdom are not just simply do's and don'ts, but actual Spiritual Laws.

Examples:

The Laws of the World (Earth's Kingdoms) Include:

The Law of Gravity

The Law of Physics

The Law of Aerodynamics

The Law of Magnetism

The Law of Energy and Mass (E=MC squared)

Man Made Laws

The Laws of God's Kingdom/The Laws of Satan's Kingdom

The Law of The Spirit of Life in Christ / The Law of Sin and Death

The Law of Faith

The Law Confession (Blessing)

(Under this Law you will have whatever you
say and believe firmly)

The Royal Law of Love

The Law of Righteousness

The Law of Health and Healing

The Law of Sowing and Reaping for Good

The Law of Prosperity

The Law of Fear

The Law of Confession (Cursing)

(Under this Law you will have whatever you fear and believe firmly)

The Vulgar Law of Hate

The Law of Sin

The Law of Sickness and Disease

The Law of Sowing and Reaping for Evil

The Law of Poverty

There are three Kingdoms that we live in. The Kingdom of Earth (we all live here, because we were all born into the Earth, no matter what your country or national origin. And we had no choice as to what nation or country we were born into).

There remains the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan.

Here we have a plain choice. Once we are born again we are then 'born' into God's Kingdom, and we must then learn about the principles or Laws of His Kingdom so that we can learn what our rights, privileges and responsibilities are.

Both your words and your actions activate these Laws. Read, study, meditate, think about God's Word and His Spiritual Laws, and you will find yourself thinking and acting in line with them, and find them working in your behalf. (Proverbs 23:7a "For as he thinketh is his heart, so is he. )

The way God has created humans to operate, we think about something first. It's automatic. Once we think about something deeply, (good or bad) sinful or righteous, beneficial or harmful, we speak it--say it, to ourselves or others, then we do it. Then we either reap the benefits or consequences of our actions. These are spiritual laws, and by what we consistently, believe, and do and say we activate them. Galatians 6:7 & 8..

Stop, and go back and read that last verse. That's right, go back, get your Bible, and read it for yourself, it's important. Why? You'll see..

Got it? Now, read verses 9 and 10 also. Verse 10 is very important because it confirms verse 7. Whatever you are consistently sowing, is exactly what you will consistently reap. You can't sow " stink weed" and reap fresh apples. You can't sow "cactus seeds" then get upset with God, the world and everybody in it when you don't get fresh squeezed Florida Oranges. You can't go around cursing, smoking, drinking, and doing drugs and get upset when you reap, problems, trouble, bad relationships, a bad marriage, cancer, debt, poverty and misery.

And for us as Christians we can't go around murmuring, grouchy, irritable, telling little "white lies" (this may come as a surprise to you, but lies don't have a color. It's a lie--period), cussin', speaking unbelief, fear, doubt, worry and talking about our neighbor and expect to reap the bounty of God.

It don't work like that.

It's a Law, you reap exactly what you sow--consistently.

Note the word "consistently". If your life is not where you want it to be, please note that you didn't get there over night. You didn't speak one negative word or engage in one negative act and ..

POOF!! You were there overnight! No, you inadvertently put a lot of time into it without even thinking about it. Well, now that you know about the Lord and the things and Laws of God, it will take applying yourself just as diligently, patiently and earnestly to the things of God, and as you have already seen, they will begin to work powerfully and consistently in your life and you can begin to experience more and more complete and total victory...

Victory in your life and circumstances!

Now, that finally brings us to our last piece of armour…

The Shield!: Covers all the rest of the armour. It is our confidence. It is what helps us get our prayers answered. It is what we use to protect ourselves while we're waiting for the answers to our prayers. It's what we use to block Satan's attacks, verbal, mental, circumstantial or otherwise (and as we saw previously Faith is also a Law). The stronger our Shield of faith, (Heb.11:1) the better able we are to fend off his attacks. Since this is a class on warfare, strategically speaking, Faith, as a principle, can also be defined as: "Our level of confidence in God's ability and His willingness to operate on our behalf (i.e., healing us, answering our prayers, protecting us, etc.)". All Christians know that God is able. But for some of us, the doubt and confusion comes in as to whether or not God is willing. According to Jesus, He is willing. Matt.8:1-3. As long as we come to Him based on His Word, and His Will. And the Good News is, that His Word IS His Will. Mark 3:34,35, Luke 8:20,21. I John 5:14,15.

Next Time, We'll Look At 9 Weapons God has Given to the Body of Christ To Fight With. Can you Guess What They Are? 1 Tim 6:12.

4) Weapons: We have many, and just like in the martial arts or fencing, it takes study, focus, commitment, dedication and practice to learn how to use them effectively

What single weapon given to us by the Lord that is so powerful that He says that it qualifies as three weapons! ______________________? Any idea?

Congratulations, you have completed Phase I of this class!.
