LESSON
NO. 3 - AN IMPORTANT WORD
|
|
AN
IMPORTANT WORD ABOUT THE LAWS OF GOD |
|
Before
anyone can effectively use the Shield of Faith one must first understand
what Faith is, 1st
Faith is a Law.
Faith is not a positive feeling. Faith is not simply a
state of mind. Faith is So
we can see just from these scriptures that the first step of salvation
is believing
or Faith,
Everybody
has human faith, which is also
called 'Sense Knowledge Faith'. This is faith drawn You
believe that when you flip the
light switch, the light will come on. Take
a moment to think about it. How many things do we do every single day
with out thinking Some
people even go so far as to curse at it! Cars, traffic lights,
computers, etc., we talk to This
is a very low level of faith in the systematic order of things. That
these things around us, The
unsaved person uses this Faith to get saved,
once saved, then we are to live our lives by Our
Heavenly Father used His Faith to create everything. In fact, using the Law of Faith, God 2nd
Faith is a Force. Faith is the Force that God used to create the
universe. Heb.11:3. It was 3rd

Faith then according to Romans 12:3 is Measurable. God
gives us all the same measure of 6th
We Live by the Law of Faith. We Have to Learn the Principles of
the Law of Faith so that You
have to learn the Laws of your new
Kingdom. If not, you could end up in bondage,
and not 7th
Without Faith it is Impossible to please God! Heb.11:6 . So
we see in Romans 12:3 that So
He expects us to use it, feed it, develop it and apply it in every area
of our lives (Romans 14:23b, Habakkuk 2:4). This again brings us right
back to the Word of God because it is here that we learn by precept and
example how to effectively
apply God's Word to our lives.

There
are three Kingdoms that we live in. The Kingdom of Earth (we all live
here, because we were all born into the Earth, no matter what your
country or national origin. And we had no choice as to what nation or
country we were born into). There
remains the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan. Here
we have a plain choice. Once we are born
again we are then 'born' into God's Kingdom, and we must then learn
about the principles or Laws of His Kingdom so that we can learn what our rights, privileges
and responsibilities are. Both
your words and your actions activate
these Laws. Read, study, meditate, think about God's Word and His
Spiritual Laws, and you will find yourself thinking and acting in line
with them, and find them working in your behalf. (Proverbs 23:7a
"For as he thinketh is
his heart, so is he. ) The
way God has created humans to operate, we think about something first.
It's automatic. Once we think about something deeply, (good or bad)
sinful or righteous, beneficial or harmful, we speak it--say it, to
ourselves or others, then we do it. Then we either reap the benefits or
consequences of our actions. These are spiritual laws, and by what we
consistently, believe, and do and say we activate
them. Galatians 6:7 & 8.. Stop,
and go back and read that last verse. That's right, go back, get your
Bible, and read it for yourself, it's important. Why? You'll see.. Got
it? Now, read verses 9 and 10 also. Verse 10 is very important because
it confirms verse 7. Whatever you are consistently
sowing, is exactly what you will consistently
reap. You can't sow " stink weed" and reap fresh apples. You
can't sow "cactus seeds" then get upset with God, the world
and everybody in it when you don't get fresh squeezed Florida
Oranges. You can't go around cursing, smoking, drinking, and doing
drugs and get upset when you reap, problems, trouble, bad relationships,
a bad marriage, cancer, debt, poverty and misery. And
for us as Christians we can't go around murmuring, grouchy, irritable,
telling little "white lies" (this may come as a surprise to
you, but lies don't have a color. It's a lie--period), cussin', speaking unbelief, fear, doubt,
worry and talking about our neighbor and expect to reap the bounty of God. It
don't
work like that. It's
a Law, you reap exactly what you sow--consistently. Note
the word "consistently". If your life is not where you want it
to be, please note that you didn't get there over night. You didn't
speak one negative word or
engage in one negative act and
.. POOF!!
You were there overnight! No, you inadvertently put a lot of time into
it without even thinking about it. Well, now that you know about the Lord and the
things and Laws of God, it will take applying yourself just as diligently,
patiently and earnestly to the things of God, and as you have
already seen, they will begin to work powerfully and consistently in
your life and you can begin to experience more and more complete and
total victory... Victory
in your life and circumstances!
Now, that finally brings us to our last piece of armour… The
Shield!: Covers all the rest of the armour. It is our confidence. It is
what helps us get our prayers answered. It is what we use to protect
ourselves while we're waiting for the answers to our prayers. It's what
we use to block Satan's attacks, verbal, mental, circumstantial or
otherwise (and as we saw previously Faith is also a Law). The stronger
our Shield of faith, (Heb.11:1) the better able we are to fend off his
attacks. Since this is a class on warfare, strategically
speaking, Faith, as a principle, can also be defined as: "Our
level of confidence in God's ability and His willingness
to operate on our behalf (i.e., healing us, answering our prayers,
protecting us, etc.)". All Christians know that God is able.
But for some of us, the doubt and confusion comes in as to whether or
not God is willing. According to Jesus, He is willing. Matt.8:1-3. As long as
we come to Him based on His Word, and His Will. And the Good News is,
that His Word IS His Will.
Mark 3:34,35, Luke 8:20,21. I John 5:14,15.
Next Time, We'll Look At
9 Weapons God has Given to the Body of Christ To Fight With. Can you
Guess What They Are? 1 Tim 6:12. 4)
Weapons: We have many, and just like in the martial arts or fencing, it
takes study, focus, commitment, dedication and practice
to learn how to use them effectively. What
single weapon given to us by the Lord that is so powerful that He says
that it qualifies as three weapons! ______________________? Any idea? Congratulations,
you have completed Phase I of this class!.
For
Home Work, Please read and review the following passages in preparation
for Phase II. Galatians chapters 5 and 6, One Chapter of the book of Proverbs per day, every day.
