1)      Their touch can provide physical strength. Dan.10:18

2)      Their touch (on the lips) can assist men in speaking.Dan.10:16

5)      They have the ability to appear only to those they choose.Dan.10:7

6)      Their appearance can be so unexpected and sudden, that initially it can be frightening, and they immediately seek to quell and stop our fear. Tho we as Believers should never be afraid.Dan.10:7,8

9)      They are sent to those who are sincere in serving and worshipping and seeking God. And they are sent out in response to our words and our prayers!Dan.10:2,3,12

10)  They always come for a reason. If they appear to us, it is because they have a very important message from Our Father, or The Lord for us, and they all want us to understand what God's will is for our lives and all of us as Christians and our people.Dan.10:14

11)  Sometimes the prayer request we make cause them to fight, if what we request crosses into Satan's territory. Satanic angels who are assigned various AO's (Areas of Operations) work to prevent our angels from fulfilling their mission. That's why it takes so long sometimes for our prayers to be answered. But if we are persistent then our persistence, our faith and God's Word allows then to receive the help, assistance and backup they need to complete their mission and fulfill our prayers.Dan.10:13

12)  There are different ranks /classes of angels. When an angel gets in trouble he can call for assistance and a higher ranking angel will come to assist him in the completion of his duties and mission.Dan.10:13

13)  Sometime their mission is intelligence gathering, to stay close to and observe what the plans and strategies of the enemy are. What he plans on doing against God's people, so that this information can then be shared with God's people (those who will listen, those who stay in His Word and prayer). Dan.10:13,14.

14)  (Note: Daniel prayed 3 times a day giving thanks to God toward Jerusalem). Angels provide physical protection at God's command. They are able to physically restrain wild animals, because of our position in Him, in Christ.Dan.6:22.

15)  Angels are also sent to help us understand God-given visions and dreams.Dan.9:22,23 & 10:14.

16)  Angels are sent by Father and the Lord Jesus Christ to deliver those who trust in Him. Thereby angels have the ability to protect God's people from fire and the destructive forces and power of other elements--both natural and man made.Dan.3:24-28.

17)  There are various levels and ranks of angels. Among these various levels are a group of angels called "Watchers" (Daniel 4:13). They are apparently assigned by God to watch over the affairs of men, especially the leaders of countries, nations and governments. They are apparently also dispatched to bring judgement on ungodly leaders when God has had enough, and are used of examples of God's mercy (if they repent and change their ways) or of His wrath. Daniel 4:23-27 & 28-30.
